A Roundtable on Assessment

A closed-door discussion with teachers and administrators on what mathematics assessment currently measures.
This is a discussion, not a presentation, and we do not have a position to defend.
The subject is narrow on purpose: what a mathematics assessment actually measures, as opposed to what it is intended to measure. Every teacher has an example. Few forums exist to collect them.
Around fifteen people will take part: classroom teachers, heads of department, and one or two people who write assessments for a living. Small enough that everyone speaks.
Nothing said will be attributed. If anything useful comes out of it, we will publish a summary with names removed, and only with the agreement of the people in the room.
Places are by request. Write to us and say what you would bring to the table.
